Building Officials, Councils & Territorial Authorities

Practical training to support building consent processing, inspections, Building Act and Building Code knowledge, technical decision-making and ongoing competency. Training can be tailored to the issues and development needs faced by individual officers, Building Control Authorities and Council teams — complementing the competency reviews, audits and staff resourcing support Solutions Team already provides to Territorial Authorities across New Zealand.

Architects & Engineers

Targeted regulatory training for professionals who understand design and engineering but may have had limited formal training in the building regulatory system. We help professionals better understand Building Act and Building Code requirements, Council expectations and regulatory decision-making — supporting the kind of detailed, consent-ready design work that reduces rework and speeds up consent processing.

Builders & Trades

Plain-English training that connects construction knowledge with the regulatory requirements surrounding building work. Understand what Council is looking for, why requirements apply and how to reduce avoidable RFIs, inspection failures, delays and compliance issues — getting building work right the first time, from consent through to final inspection.
